Greenwood County Scholarship

Established in 1995.  Two scholarships for exceptionally financially disadvantaged entering freshmen who are Greenwood County residents.  One is restricted to African Americans; one is open to all races, with preference being given to qualified women candidates.  The selection process is based upon academic achievement and potential.  The scholarships are renewable, provided students maintain a 2.5 GPA in the freshman and sophomore years, and a 3.0 GPA in the junior and senior years.
