Greenwood Advancement Scholarship

Established in 1997 by an anonymous donor.  Two scholarships for exceptionally financially disadvantaged entering freshmen who are Greenwood County residents.  One is restricted to African Americans; one is open to all races.  The selection process is based upon academic achievement and potential.  The scholarships are renewable, provided students maintain a 2.5 grade point ratio in the freshman and sophomore years, and a 3.0 grade point ratio in the junior and senior years.
