John Sam and Zonell McPhail Lay Scholarship

Established in 1994 as a memorial to Zonell McPhail Lay, Class of 1932, by the Estate of John Sam and Zonell McPhail Lay in support of the educational endeavors of Lander University.  Scholarships will be awarded annually from fund income to deserving students from Oconee, Pickens, and Anderson counties who have academic ability and potential, the desire to learn, and the determination and perseverance to succeed academically.
