W. P. May Scholarship

Established in 1994, as a memorial to W. Pierce May, Jr. by his family. Mr. May, a Greenwood native, devoted his life to his family and to the communities in which he lived. Scholarship will be awarded annually from fund income. Student selection will be based on need, academic achievement, and leadership potential with preference given to students majoring in English. Scholarship will be renewable for up to three years provided recipient maintains a 3.0 GPR.
