President's Scholarship

President Emeritus Larry A. Jackson established a scholarship fund in memory of Rosa Gilbert, Arthur Edward Jackson, and Mace Frank Reid. The President’s Scholarship Fund is one which is important not for its size or its earnings rate, but for the genuine spirit of caring which goes into every award made from it. There are cases of unusual need represented; some recipients are foreign students whose resources for aid are limited; still others represent a commitment to the study of art, music, and theatre. All awards carry the personal touch and the good wishes of Lander’s current President. Scholarships are awarded to students with financial need and academic promise.
