Daniel and Marjorie Ball Scholarship

Established in 2015 in honor of Dan and Marje Ball when Dr. Ball retired as president of Lander University. Scholarship to be awarded to a student who is a U.S. citizen and a resident of South Carolina. The student must be admitted to the teacher education program at Lander University and must be pursuing a degree or certification in science teaching or Montessori education. Student must have attained junior standing (60 or more hours completed), with an overall undergraduate grade point average of 2.75 or greater. Graduate students are eligible to apply. The Dean of the College of Education is responsible for selecting and awarding the scholarship.
