Allin Family Scholarship
The Allin Family Fund was established in December 2005 by William B. Allin, member of the Lander Foundation Board of Trustees who also serves on The Foundation’s Investment Committee. Bill chose to establish the scholarship to honor his family: his wife, Karen; son, Billy; and his daughter Keri Anne, who is a 1992 Lander graduate; and at the same time provide financial assistance to Lander students who are not necessarily the highest academic achievers, but who exhibit finacial need and who are committed to community service. The recipient of the Allin Family Scholarship would be a student actively engaged in volunteer efforts to reach out to those less fortunate while enrolled as a student at Lander University. The scholarship will be awarded annually from fund income to a full-time Lander student. The scholarship is renewable provided the recipient remains a full-time student and maintains a 2.6 GPA.
