Mary Alice White Abell Scholarship

Established in 2011 in memory of Mary Alice White Abell, who was a 1960 graduate of Lander College. Mrs. Abell was very involved while at Lander. She was May Queen and served as student body President. Scholarship to be awarded to a South Carolina resident, at least a junior, and on track to graduate. The student must show financial need and be involved in leadership activities on campus, especially in student government.
