Gladys Heller-Hammond Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2020 by John G. “Jack” Hammond this scholarship awarded annually to a rising third year (junior) full time student with first preference to a native born South Carolinian, then all other students who are enrolled in the College of Education. The student must major in Early Childhood and/or Elementary Education. Scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding student at discretion of the Dean of the College of Education. Scholarship award is not solely based on academic achievement. The student must be in good academic standing consistent with Lander’s mission and policy. The scholarship is renewable.
