W. Earle and Jo Ann Miley Purkerson Scholarship

Established in 2004 by the family of Jo Ann Miley Purkerson, Class of 1960, who has been active with the Alumni Association since graduation, serving as President 2002-2004. Earle has served as a sports announcer for the Athletics Department. Both Jo Ann and Earle have been loyal Lander supporters since Jo Ann’s graduation. Scholarship is renewable up to three years provided student maintains at least a 2.7 GPA.
