Established by Sergio Smith, this annual scholarship is awarded to an undergrad student classified academically as a sophomore or above, a Chemistry major, a minority student with preference given to a black woman, has financial need as determined by the Financial Aid office, a South Carolina resident and cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above
