Suzanne Lander Stone Scholarship
Established in 1996 in memory of Suzanne Lander Stone, a granddaughter of Samuel Lander and member of the class of 1936, by her family and friends. These scholarships will be awarded from fund income to full-time residential or commuting students who have demonstrated outstanding abilities and a strong commitment to the performance and/or the teaching of music. Each recipient must be a student who is majoring or minoring in music or music education education or who is a particularly talented participant in one or more of Lander’s music ensembles. The selection of scholarship recipients and the determination of scholarship amounts will be the responsibility of the faculty of the Department of Music.
If Lander University should cease to offer any major or minor in music or music education, these scholarships must be awarded to full-time residential or commuting students majoring or minoring in English, History, or Fine Art.
