Dr. John Marvin Rast Scholarship- History and Philosophy

Established in 1993 in memory of former Lander University President, Dr. John M. Rast, by his son and daughter, Carlisle L. Rast and Sue Rast Foy. Scholarship to be awarded annually based on merit and financial need. Scholarship initially awarded to an entering freshman majoring in an area of History and Philosophy and is renewable for up to three years provided recipient maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.0.
